    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Hanoverian troops served in Wellington's army and were organizationally closely linked to the British army. After Napoleon's occupation of Hanover, many Germans continued to fight on the Allied side. In the 1815 campaign, Hanoverian field battalions and Landwehr were deployed in the Allied order of battle.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    Hanoverian line infantry supplements Allied armies in Black Powder, Sharp Practice, and Sharpe's Rifles. In the game, they take on classic tasks such as holding a battle line, securing flanks, and supporting British units. They are particularly suitable for Waterloo scenarios and coalition armies of the late Napoleonic Wars.
