Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

A French horse artillery battery took four 6-pounders and two 5.5-inch howitzers into the field, and this set provides one of the cannon with four gunners. Because gunners and drivers were all mounted, the battery could quickly move to wherever fire was needed. In Black Powder you field it with the line troops, for example next to a cavalry brigade or as a mobile reserve. For Waterloo it fits into the Armée du Nord.
