Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Four gunners are laying and loading a Guard foot artillery 6-pounder in this set. From 1805 this calibre was the standard of the light batteries, replacing the older 4- and 8-pounders. In Black Powder the gun joins others to form a Guard battery that accompanies your infantry and fires case shot at close range. Placed next to firing guns, this version makes the battery look as if it is in the middle of an action.
