    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

With twenty-two musicians you can field the complete regimental band of your Imperial Guard in Black Powder, in three ranks: percussion at the front with a Jingling Johnny, bass and side drums, cymbals and triangle, then clarinets, flutes, oboes and bassoons, and serpents, trombones and horns in the third rank. In the game the band is not a fighting unit but a parade scene or scenario piece, for example as the Guard marches up. Regulations allowed seven musicians, but the Guard averaged twenty.
