Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Two mounted colonels in metal give two French infantry regiments their commanding officers. From the saddle a colonel could overlook the ground and his battalions, and in the Grande Armée he often led the column into the attack himself. In Black Powder you place one colonel with each regiment, so you can see at a glance who leads which unit. For battles between Austerlitz and Waterloo they suit any French infantry brigade.
