Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

With these forty Monmouth caps on ten frames you can fit your foot troops in Pike & Shotte with the typical knitted cap of the English Civil War. Any regiment could wear them and the colours varied with where they were made, so you have a free hand when painting. The caps were made cheaply in huge numbers and were also worn under helmets. They bring variety to the musketeer and pike blocks of your army.
