Background & context

Feldschlachten waren im Mittelalter die Ausnahme, geplündert und gekämpft wurde meistens dort, wo Vorräte lagen: im Dorf. Genau davon lebt dieses Set, denn Brunnen, Statue und der Stapel aus Fässern und Säcken erzählen mehr über den Ort als die Häuser selbst. Das zerstörte Haus liefert die Spur eines früheren Überfalls gleich mit. Für Skirmish-Regeln in Dark Ages, Hochmittelalter oder klassischer Fantasy passt die Kulisse gleichermaßen.

On the tabletop

Three houses, a ruined house, a well and a statue let you set up a village where fighting and plundering take place. Arrange the houses around a square with the well so that lanes form and block sight. Spread out the two kinds of crates, the sacks and the barrels, ten of each, as supplies that warbands gather up or defend. For battles in the early and high Middle Ages the set gives you a complete settlement.
