Hintergrund & Einordnung

The M3 Stuart was developed from the M2A4 and retained a 37mm cannon as well as several machine guns. According to Warlord Games, the British Army was the first to use the Stuart in combat, including about 170 vehicles in Operation Crusader. From 1942, Great Britain primarily used Stuarts for reconnaissance, while variants such as the Stuart Recce, Stuart Kangaroo, and Command emerged. In the Pacific, the M3A1 proved effective on Guadalcanal against inadequately equipped Japanese forces.

In the game, the M3 Stuart Platoon is suitable for rapid flanking maneuvers, reconnaissance, and flexible fire support. Light tanks and scout vehicles should utilize their mobility rather than seeking protracted frontal duels. In Bolt Action / Achtung Panzer! / Chain of Command, the model complements infantry and heavier vehicles with its speed, mission pressure, and responsiveness.
