    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The M21 was based on the reliable M3 Half-track and was intended to keep pace with armored infantry and tank formations. Warlord describes the vehicle as a mobile carrier for a simple but effective 81mm mortar with 97 rounds of ready ammunition. The crew consisted of six men. A total of 110 M21s were built by the White Company. The type was primarily used in Western Europe by US forces, with some vehicles also going to Free French forces.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The M21 Mortar Carrier provides mobile indirect fire support for mechanized US forces. In-game, it can bring mortar fire forward while benefiting from halftrack mobility. It should be used as a support vehicle that utilizes cover and prepares lines of fire.
