    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The M15 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage combined the M3 Half-track chassis with a 37mm autocannon and twin heavy .50cal machine guns. It was developed to provide US forces with mobile anti-aircraft protection, and thanks to its mix of weapons, it could also be used very effectively against infantry and light vehicles. The combination of mobility, light armor, and a high rate of fire made it a versatile escort vehicle for armored units. On the tabletop, the model represents this role as a fast, hard-hitting support unit.
