    Background & context

    On the tabletop

These six figures form the command of a French line battalion of the late Napoleonic years in Black Powder. With them you set up the head of your unit so that it stays recognisable in the powder smoke, since historically an officer, an eagle bearer and a drummer led every battalion. The short coats of the 1812 regulations suit the campaigns of 1813 and 1814 as well as Waterloo in 1815. Flags are not included, so you choose them to match the regiment.
