Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

In the Italian Wars there was little help for the wounded: surgeons were rare, and in the end there was often only a priest. Four metal Landsknechts, one of them wounded, show this quiet moment. In Pike & Shotte you place the group behind the line of your mercenary army or at the edge of the battlefield. The company saw its dying off with customs of its own, with prayer and the sharing out of their belongings.
