    Background & context

    On the tabletop

Berlin in April 1945: the Volkssturm and the Hitler Youth are meant to hold the city against the Red Army. In Bolt Action the 20 metal figures form three small squads whose leaders carry an MP 40, a Gustloff VG 1-5 or a Beretta submachine gun, while most of the others have rifles and Panzerfausts. The headquarters consists of a party official with a pistol and a medic. The two Luftfaust gunners fight aircraft, the Krummlauf fires around corners, and spare heads add variety.
