Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

For each figure you choose between arquebus and crossbow, and spare heads come with the six Landsknecht shooters on the sprue. In Pike & Shotte they give a mercenary regiment missile fire that tells before the pikes meet. Next to the pike blocks and the Doppelsöldner, the Landsknechts always fielded a line of shot. The crossbow lasted a long time while the arquebus took over during the 16th century, so you can match the troops to the Italian Wars between 1494 and 1559.
