Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

These four splendidly dressed officers lead your Landsknechts in Pike & Shotte and are instantly recognisable as leaders on the table. Place them at the head of your pike blocks or as commanders giving orders to your units. Their men were contractors rather than subjects, and anyone who failed to pay on time risked mutiny, which makes good material for scenarios. Against the Swiss, from whom they had learned their trade, Landsknechts fought with particular bitterness.
