Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

With hounds, falcon and crossbow, four Landsknechts leave camp to improve their dull rations. Two men lead dogs, joined by a falconer and a crossbowman. Perhaps they are celebrating a saint's day, or perhaps an officer has sent them out to bring back something good for their lord. In Pike & Shotte you place the group at the edge of a wood or near the camp, because although hunting was reserved for the nobility, Landsknechts poached wherever they went.
