Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Fallen, wounded and torn from the wall of pikes, these Landsknechts show the other side of the Italian Wars. In Pike & Shotte you set the eight metal figures beside a unit to mark casualties, or build them into the bases of your mercenary block. When two blocks clashed the front rank usually fell, and later arquebus fire added to the losses, as at Pavia in 1525. Slashed doublets and broad berets match the rest of your Landsknechts.
