Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Arquebusiers bring gunpowder to your mercenary company and weaken the enemy before the pike blocks meet. In Pike & Shotte you place the eight metal figures in front of or beside your pikes, from where they fire at range. The weapon was slow to load and suffered in wind and wet, yet Landsknechts carried it from the start. At Pavia in 1525 Imperial shot cut down a French army of knights, an action you can refight for the Italian Wars.
