    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The Lanchester is a large six-wheeled armoured car from the late twenties for your British army in Bolt Action. Already due for retirement when the war began, it served from 1939 to 1941 mainly in the Far East, with a few cars in Africa. On the table it handles reconnaissance and security for early-war games in these theatres. It was considered reliable on roads and cross-country, though its size makes it a conspicuous target. Achtung Panzer! covers it as well.
