Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The KV-1E carries extra armour plates bolted onto hull and turret with heavy bolts; the E stands for ekranami, meaning screened. In 1941 the German 3.7 cm anti-tank gun simply bounced off it. In Bolt Action you therefore send it ahead in early Eastern Front Soviet lists to draw fire so your infantry can follow. Its gearbox and clutch were overstretched, so it is no fast tank. A metal crew figure is included.
