Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Emperor Maximilian I comes as both a young daredevil and an old ruler, so you choose at which stage of his life he leads your Landsknechts in Pike & Shotte. As commander-in-chief he suits your mercenary armies in the wars against France and in northern Italy. He raised the Landsknechts as an answer to the Swiss mercenaries and gave them great freedom in their dress, hence the plumes, slashed sleeves and bright colours. Both figures are metal.
