    Material: Metal

    SKU: WGB-JI-RE-15

    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

From 1939 the Type 99 was the light machine gun of the Japanese infantry section and so the base of fire around which the rest of the squad worked. The two metal figures show the crew changing position rather than dug in. In Bolt Action a light machine gun gives your Japanese squad firepower at range to keep enemy infantry pinned. On the Pacific islands such crews moved constantly, because every position that was spotted drew artillery fire.
