    Background & context

Schweizer Hauptleute waren Unternehmer.

    On the tabletop

A captain on foot, a mounted captain and a banner bearer lead your Swiss mercenaries of the Italian Wars in Pike & Shotte. Place the mounted captain behind your pike blocks as commander, and the captain on foot with the banner bearer at the head of a pike unit. Swiss captains were entrepreneurs who recruited men in their cantons and negotiated pay and plunder, and whoever paid them got the best infantry in Europe. All three figures are metal.
