Product details

Background & context

The Cannone da 47/32, often called Elefantino, was one of the Italian army's important weapons in World War II. The guns were used to engage infantry, vehicles, or fortified positions at a distance. In a tabletop context, the model represents light anti-tank capabilities and adds a clearly recognizable support role to armies.

On the tabletop

In the early war years the 47/32 firing HEAT rounds was a serious threat to Allied tanks, and in Bolt Action it takes on the anti-tank role for your Bersaglieri. Crews often removed its wheels to make it sit even lower in cover. So hide it well at a spot enemy vehicles have to pass. Three metal crew figures are included.
