Product details

Background & context

The 100/17 Modello 14 was one of the important weapons of the Italian army during World War II. The guns were used to engage infantry, vehicles, or fortified positions from a distance. In a tabletop context, the model represents medium artillery and adds a clearly recognizable support role to armies.

On the tabletop

For Italian armies in Bolt Action the 100/17 Modello 14 is a medium howitzer. It fires in an arc over cover and friendly troops, hitting infantry in dug-in positions or behind walls. Four crew figures serve the metal gun. Since this Skoda design served from North Africa to the Don, it suits games in either theatre. Your rifle squads in front of the position keep enemy infantry away from it.
