    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    According to Warlord, the Isuzu Type 98 AA Machine Gun Carrier combined a Type 98 20mm automatic cannon with the rear of a Type 94 or later Type 96 six-wheeled truck. The Type 98 20mm cannon was the most common light anti-aircraft gun of the Imperial Japanese Army. Warlord states a range of 5,500 meters and a rate of fire of up to 300 rounds per minute. These self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicles were not produced in large numbers. The few vehicles that were deployed served in air defense units of Japanese armored divisions.

In the game, it can threaten light vehicles, infantry, and air targets but is vulnerable as a carrier vehicle.
