    Background & context

    Die 152-mm-Granate wog rund fünfzig Kilo, und was sie traf, blieb selten stehen. Die Besatzungen tauften das Fahrzeug Zveroboy, Bestienjäger, weil ein einziger Treffer auch Tiger und Panther aufriss - meist nicht durch Durchschlag, sondern durch schiere Wucht. Bezahlt wurde das mit rund zwanzig Schuss an Bord und einer Ladezeit, in der ein gegnerischer Panzer zweimal feuern konnte. Im Häuserkampf von Königsberg und Berlin hat das niemanden gestört.

    On the tabletop

    The ISU-152 was the heaviest self-propelled gun of the Red Army and played a key role in the battle for Berlin. In Bolt Action you field it in any armoured platoon as a heavy tank whose heavy howitzer fires only to the front. Its strength lies in street fighting, where it shells occupied houses and barricades. You can also use it in Achtung Panzer!, whose rulebook contains the rules for it.
