    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Humber Scout Car was developed as a British counterpart to the Daimler Dingo. According to Warlord, over 4,000 vehicles were built from 1942 onwards and used by Commonwealth, Polish and Czech units until the end of the war. The two-seater light reconnaissance vehicle was used for liaison and scouting tasks. Its high speed and low silhouette were more important than heavy armament, which was limited to Bren or Vickers K machine guns. The included Vandeleur figure refers to Operation Market Garden and the advance of the Irish Guards towards Arnhem.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The Humber Scout Car is suitable as a light reconnaissance and liaison vehicle. With the included Vandeleur figure, it can also be used as a thematic command element or scenario vehicle. In-game, it performs best when utilizing its mobility and not being forced into direct firefights with heavier vehicles.
