    Ayo Gorkhali - the Gurkhas are coming! Hailing from the mountains of Nepal, the Gurkhas are considered some of the toughest and most feared soldiers in the Commonwealth and the Empire. This plastic box contains 30 infantrymen in jungle uniform, allowing for a wide variety of Gurkha units and weapon teams to be assembled for the India army list - including the legendary Kukri knives.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Gurkhas have been part of the British armed forces since the early 19th century and enjoy a legendary reputation as brave, intrepid fighters. In World War II, Gurkha units served as part of the British Indian Army in almost every theatre of war-particularly renowned for their deployments in North Africa, Italy, and especially in the grueling jungle warfare in Burma and Malaya. Their battle cry 'Ayo Gorkhali' sent the enemy fleeing and remains legendary to this day.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The Gurkha Infantry Platoon box offers maximum flexibility when building a Commonwealth Indian Army for Bolt Action. With 30 infantry figures, regular Gurkha platoons, snipers, mortar teams, PIAT teams, and flamethrower units can all be built from the same box. Particularly strong in jungle and Pacific scenarios, where their endurance and close-combat prowess with Kukri knives truly come into their own.
