    Product details

    Background & context

In the Konflikt '47 alliance Japan gained access to German research data and took its own path with it. Instead of changing bodies, its scientists changed their relationship to space: a portable field puts the wearer out of step with his surroundings for a few seconds. Nobody can stand that for long, but it is enough for a strike. The Ghost Attack Squads use those seconds to turn up in places that were thought safe, and afterwards melt back into the terrain.

    On the tabletop

In Konflikt '47 Japanese scientists have developed a field that briefly phases soldiers out of sync with the world around them. As a result the five Ghost Attack soldiers appear from unexpected directions or straight out of heavy terrain. With their Type 10 Shiboru compression rifles they put a lot of fire on the target and then vanish back into dense terrain. Use them for ambushes against the enemy's flanks and rear.
