    Background & context

    Citroën entwickelte den P107 im Jahr 1934 nach dem Kégresse-Prinzip mit Gummiketten und leichtem Laufwerk; nach der Pleite des Hauses lief die Produktion bei Unic weiter. 1940 standen über zweitausend Stück bei der französischen Armee, und ein Großteil fiel im Juni unbeschädigt in deutsche Hand. Major Alfred Becker von der 21. Panzerdivision, im Zivilleben Ingenieur, machte daraus ein System und ließ die Fahrzeuge in Serie zu Zugmaschinen und Selbstfahrlafetten umbauen.

    On the tabletop

    The Unic P107 is a captured French half-track that you use in Bolt Action as a tractor for German guns. After the 1940 campaign in the west many of these vehicles fell into German hands, and Major Alfred Becker of the 21st Panzer Division had them converted in large numbers. That makes the model a particularly good fit for an army of this division. One metal crew member is included. Once the gun is unlimbered, move the half-track out of the line of fire.
