Product details

Background & context

Above the platoon and company commanders who stand on the gaming table was a level that almost never makes it onto the table: regimental and divisional staffs with situation maps, field telephones and runners. Their decisions came forward as orders, and their quarters lay kilometres behind the front. That is exactly what made them worthwhile targets in commando raids and special scenarios - and that is what these three figures are for.

On the tabletop

This trio of staff officers represents the level above your platoon commander in Bolt Action: a regimental or divisional staff with situation map and orders. They hardly fight themselves, but they make a good objective in commando raids where your opponent wants to take out a command post, or serve as commanders in large games and campaigns. That gives your German army a headquarters that has to be defended.
