Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Gaston de Foix leads your French army of the Italian Wars in Pike & Shotte as a young and aggressive commander-in-chief. At 21 he took command in Italy, relieved Bologna, took Brescia and brought the Holy League to battle at Ravenna. He won there on Easter Sunday 1512 and fell while pursuing the Spanish, a battle that makes a fine scenario. The mounted figure is cast in resin.
