Product details

Background & context

Light anti-tank guns of the Résistance were among the important weapons of the French resistance forces in World War II. The guns were used to engage infantry, vehicles, or fortified positions from a distance. In a tabletop context, the model represents improvised anti-tank and ambush fire and adds a clearly recognizable support role to armies.

On the tabletop

For a Resistance force in Bolt Action, this light anti-tank gun is one of the few weapons against vehicles. Its targets are trucks, armoured cars and lightly armoured security vehicles, while it achieves little against the armour of front-line tanks. Hide it at a road or the entrance to a village and open fire only when a column has come close enough. The Resistance crew figures are cast in metal, like the gun.
