Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The Grenadiers of the Old Guard were the Emperor's last reserve, and Napoleon rarely sent them into action. In Black Powder you field the 20 grenadiers with officer, pioneer, standard bearer and drummer as a Guard unit that only steps in when a battle has to be decided. Instead of parade dress the figures wear campaign overalls. For Waterloo you lead them on the evening of 18 June against British firepower and Prussian troops.
