Product details

Background & context

The Feldgendarmerie was the military police of the Wehrmacht and above all controlled traffic on supply roads, at bridges and at crossroads. On duty its members wore a metal gorget on a chain around the neck, which earned them the nickname chained dogs. The long rubberised motorcycle coat protected the often motorised patrols from rain and dust. Their tasks also included checking papers and rounding up stragglers.

On the tabletop

Place the policeman with the paddle at a crossroads or bridge, waving convoys through or stopping them, a worthwhile target for enemy scouts. The second figure is made to go with a sidecar motorcycle, which you need separately, and the stowage fills its racks. In Bolt Action both reinforce a motorcycle unit or serve as an objective at a checkpoint. Clean the resin parts off their supports and glue them with superglue.
