    Nach Kreta 1941 sprang kein deutscher Fallschirmjäger mehr im großen Stil ab. Die Truppe kämpfte als Elite-Infanterie in Italien, an der Ostfront und in der Normandie weiter und behielt ihren Ruf trotzdem. Monte Cassino machte ihn endgültig: Monatelang hielten die Verbände dort eine Stellung, die längst gefallen sein sollte. Ihre Offiziere führten nah an der vordersten Linie, Beobachter und Sanitäter gehörten fest zum Stabstrupp.

    On the tabletop

    With two officers to choose from, an observer and a medic, you can field the headquarters of your 1943 to 1945 Fallschirmjäger in Bolt Action. The officer leads his platoon and passes on orders, while the observer and medic fill the support slots of your list. The group is intended for the paratroopers' role as elite infantry in Italy, on the Eastern Front and in Normandy, with Monte Cassino providing the best-known scenario.
