    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

In 1086 Yusuf ibn Tashfin brought his Black Guard to al-Andalus, a bodyguard of professional warriors known for their steadfastness. With these eight metal figures you set up the core of an Almoravid battle line in Hail Caesar that holds its ground even under pressure. In SAGA they serve you as tough foot troops. Their opponents are the armies of Alfonso VI, beaten at Sagrajas, and the Castilians of El Cid's time.
