Product details

Background & context

The 369th Reinforced Infantry Regiment was a Wehrmacht unit whose men came from Croatia. In the field, almost nothing set it apart outwardly from German formations except its own insignia - which is why, for miniatures, the decal sheet decides whether a unit passes as the Croatian Legion. Its path led through the fighting around Kharkov in May 1942 and the summer campaign into the ruins of Stalingrad, where it was the only non-German formation to attack directly into the city, and was ground down in the process.

On the tabletop

The 369th Reinforced Infantry Regiment, known as the Croatian Legion, looked almost like any German unit in the field, distinguished only by its own insignia. This sheet supplies those insignia for the sleeves and equipment of your German or winter German infantry for Bolt Action. With it you can field the Legion in Eastern Front scenarios, from the fighting around Kharkov in May 1942 to Stalingrad. Figures are not included.
