Product details

Background & context

Citroën built the Type 45 from 1934 as a robust three-and-a-half-tonner for trades, commerce and agriculture, and France was full of them. After the 1940 campaign in the West, thousands of these trucks ended up in German captured stocks and simply carried on under new markings. On the gaming table the Type 45 is therefore useful twice over: first French logistics, later German.

On the tabletop

In Bolt Action you can use the Citroën Type 45 as an unarmoured lorry or as civilian scenery for games in France. During the 1940 campaign it stood on country roads among refugees and requisitioned cargo, and afterwards thousands carried on in German service. That makes the model suitable for French and German supply columns alike. Load the open bed with cargo of your own, for example to mark an objective.
