Hintergrund & Einordnung

The Chindits were British-Indian deep-penetration units operating far behind Japanese lines in the dense jungles of Burma. Reliant on air resupply, far from regular supply routes, these units had to make do with compact, versatile weapons. Light anti-tank weapons like the PIAT were of significant importance against the Japanese armored vehicles deployed in Southeast Asia. Flamethrowers proved effective against fortified positions and entrenched defenders, while light mortars enabled rapid fire support without heavy equipment.

Einsatz im Spiel

Weapon teams like these add tactical depth and versatility to a Chindit force on the tabletop.
