As a Type 3-Hebi, it forms the armoured backbone of Japanese forces in 1947.

    Product details

    Background & context

The Chi-Nu is a further development of the tried-and-tested Type-97 Chi-Ha chassis, marking Japan's attempt to keep pace with Allied tank designs. In the world of Konflikt '47, the chassis has been upgraded with rift-tech compression weaponry and heavier armor - the result bears the nickname Type 3-Hebi. Only deployed on the front lines in mainland China in 1947, it immediately made an impression there. It is clearly superior to older US tanks and Soviet designs, but cannot quite match the latest Allied heavy tanks.

    On the tabletop

The Type 3-Hebi is the Japanese army's medium tank in Konflikt '47: a Chi-Nu with thicker armour and a heavy compression cannon in a larger turret. This weapon literally tears medium vehicles apart, and the tank outperforms the older American and Soviet designs on the Chinese mainland. So use it against medium vehicles, as it remains outmatched by the latest heavy tanks. The model is resin and metal.
