    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    British tank crews were also an integral part of the Allied armoured forces in winter operational areas. During the fighting in North-West Europe from 1944 onwards, they had to operate in difficult weather conditions, especially in cold, snow and restricted visibility. Appropriate winter equipment was necessary to maintain the crews' operational capability in open hatches and during maintenance work.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    In the game, the figures represent tank commanders or crew members in or on vehicles in winter scenarios. They are suitable for individualising British tank vehicles and increasing their thematic impact on the game table. In Bolt Action, they are particularly suitable for late-war scenarios with a winter or Ardennes focus.
