    Background & context

    Die britische Section zählte rund zehn Mann und teilte sich in eine Bren-Gruppe und eine Gewehrgruppe. Die Schützen mit dem Lee-Enfield hielten den Gegner nieder, während das leichte Maschinengewehr das eigentliche Feuer machte und der Rest vorging. Ruhiges, gezieltes Einzelfeuer aus dem Repetierer war dabei ausdrücklich Ausbildungsziel. Diese Handschrift zog sich von der Wüste über Italien bis in die Hecken der Normandie.

    On the tabletop

    These three British soldiers aiming their Lee-Enfields, one kneeling and two standing, show your squad in the middle of a firefight. In the British section the riflemen pinned the enemy with aimed single shots while the Bren delivered the main weight of fire. Use them to add steady firing poses to a section or to mark the men currently giving covering fire. They fit your games from the desert to Normandy.
