    Background & context

Kanadische Bataillone führten dieselbe Waffe in praktisch derselben Uniform.

    On the tabletop

The 3 inch mortar served the British in every theatre, and in Bolt Action you field it as a medium mortar team of three men. From its large round base it fires in an arc at emplacements and troop concentrations behind cover. The rules also let you attach a spotter. As Canadian soldiers used the same weapon in almost identical uniforms, the team works just as well in a Canadian army.
