Background & context

In 1944 the British infantry fought its way through hedgerows, villages and Channel towns, and for that it needed more than rifles. The PIAT was unwieldy and had to get within a few metres, but it ripped open any German tank if the firer kept his nerve. Flamethrower teams went where grenades no longer achieved anything: bunkers, cellars, rows of houses. And the snipers in ghillie suits were so feared in the bocage of Normandy that officers cut off their badges of rank.

On the tabletop

Three two-man teams in Warlord Resin support a British platoon of 1944 and 1945 where rifles are not enough. The PIAT team waits in hedges and ruins and has to get close to a tank before it fires. The flamethrower clears bunkers, cellars and rows of houses. The sniper team in ghillie suits stays well hidden and picks officers as its targets. In Bolt Action each team gets its own order die, so you field them separately.
