    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The British airborne troops - respectfully referred to as "Red Devils" by the Germans - were elite infantrymen who were parachuted or glider-borne into battle. They earned their legendary reputation in operations such as the capture of Pegasus Bridge, the assault on the Merville Battery, and the daring Operation Market Garden in Arnhem. Equipped with Sten SMGs, Bren LMGs, and PIATs, they often fought deep in enemy territory without heavy support, relying on grit and firepower.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    This starter army offers a complete Bolt Action platoon with real depth: The 36 infantrymen form several rifle squads with different weapons, while the MMG and mortar team provide fire support from a distance. The flamethrower is ideal against entrenched enemies, and the 6-pounder AT gun keeps enemy vehicles at bay. Airborne units in Bolt Action often benefit from special rules for morale and initiative - an army designed for aggressive scenarios and mission defense.
