Product details

Background & context

The British 6th Airborne Division dropped over Normandy in the night before 6 June 1944 to secure the eastern flank of the landing beaches. Gliders landed troops right next to the bridges over the Orne and the Caen Canal, now known as Pegasus Bridge. Other units attacked the Merville coastal battery or blew bridges over the Dives. Many paratroopers came down widely scattered and only regrouped hours later.

On the tabletop

The four paratroopers add to a British airborne platoon or form the core of a small group fighting scattered after the drop. In Bolt Action they fit missions around bridges, batteries and villages east of the Orne on the night of D-Day. The parts are printed on supports, so you cut them away cleanly and assemble them with superglue.
