Product details

Background & context

Mortars, guns and other indirect-fire weapons played a central role in the Second World War in supporting attacks and defensive positions. Bolt Action represents the zeroing in of such weapons through repeated targeting and improved chances to hit. The Soviet Zeroing In markers make this process visible on the table and reduce mix-ups when there are several fire missions.

On the tabletop

A Soviet army rarely brings just one indirect fire weapon. The two MDF markers etched with the Red Army design link each aiming point in Bolt Action to the gun or mortar that has ranged in there. When several fire missions run at once, you avoid mix-ups without keeping a list on the side.
