Product details

Background & context

Indirect fire from mortars and artillery played an important role in the Second World War because it could engage targets behind cover or out of direct line of sight. Bolt Action represents the zeroing in of such weapons through rising chances to hit in subsequent turns. Zeroing In markers make this process visible and prevent mix-ups when several British fire support weapons are on the table.

On the tabletop

Mortars and guns engage targets behind cover or out of sight, and these two markers with a British army etching are made for exactly that. If you field several British support weapons in Bolt Action, each target one of them has ranged in on gets its own marker. At the start of the next turn it is immediately settled which weapon keeps firing where.
